999 Games just celebrated its thirtieth birthday. It was founded in 1990 with the aim of bringing fresh new board games to the market in the Benelux, despite the fact that everyone thought they would disappear with the rise of computer games.
Hundreds of games have been published in those thirty years, with some well-known names like Magic: the Gathering, Catan, Halli Galli, Earthworms, Machiavelli, Carcassonne, and many more.
The founder is still at the helm of this Dutch company with about 35 employees.
